On Monday, 20 January, a seminar on agricultural issues was held in Nieuwspoort international press center in The Hague.
A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture in Tashkent and the personal advisor of the president and ambassador, Dilyor Khakimov, was chair of the seminar, which was attended by more than 90 persons.
Most of them were Dutch representatives of companies, looking for business opportunities across the border, possibly in the form of joint ventures.
The seminar lasted about two hours, and 15 participants were given the opportunity to give a short presentation by means of a pitch.
Business cards were exchanged and there was an exchange of ideas.
A follow-up visit is expected with the minister of agriculture of Uzbekistan.
